The Travel For Better Foundation is dedicated to creating a brighter and more sustainable future for our global community. Our mission is to leverage the power of travel to uplift communities, promote environmental stewardship, and foster sustainable economies, ensuring that tourism leaves a lasting, positive impact on destinations worldwide.

Travel For Better is a registered 501c3 nonprofit, created to support travel advisors and travel businesses who believe travel can — and should — be a force for good.

We exist to help travel professionals move beyond surface-level sustainability and into practical, values-aligned action that benefits communities, protects destinations, and strengthens local economies — without sacrificing business growth, profitability, or the client experience.

Sustainability in travel is often framed as overwhelming, unclear, or all-or-nothing. Travel For Better was created to change that. Our work focuses on clarity over complexity, progress over perfection, and real-world application over theory, making sustainability feel approachable, relevant, and aligned with how advisors already work.

Through education, practical tools, and real-world examples, we equip advisors with the language, frameworks, and confidence needed to make informed decisions, communicate thoughtfully with clients and suppliers, and design travel experiences that feel intentional and meaningful. We believe advisors are uniquely positioned to influence how travel shows up in the world — and when they are supported, that influence can create lasting positive impact.
